Our Background & Experience

Canadian Diagnostic Network (CDN) was founded in 2014 and is Ottawa’s largest diagnostic imaging provider, with over 20 clinic sites and 30 years of experience, providing high quality diagnostic care delivering the most comprehensive diagnosis possible for the patients we serve.

We strive to deliver our patients a comprehensive array of services for all of their diagnostic imaging needs. For services that we do not currently provide internally, we partner and integrate with hospitals, clinics, colleges and other health care providers to deliver those critical services to our customers.

CDN is made up of over 150 dedicated healthcare experts, and includes both bilingual technologists and radiologists, able to provide verbal and written consultations, especially important in the case of urgent examinations, with a report turnaround of approximately 24 to 48 hours.

The Canadian Diagnostic network is Ottawa’s largest provider of the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) operation period. Using the latest breast screening technology, and with highly trained specialists, this program is contributing to saving patient lives.

The CDN Leadership team is made up of the founders and radiologists, all with extensive health care experience and business management.

CDN Partnership with The Ottawa Mission

The Canadian Diagnostic Network has been proudly providing diagnostic services to the Ottawa Mission. The Ottawa Mission provides food, shelter, clothing and skills, and offers healing, faith and hope for those in need to help them build a wholesome life.

CDN recently partnered with the Ottawa Mission to support their efforts to collect food. All Canadian Diagnostic Network locations will make a donation basket available in their clinic reception areas where people can drop-off non-perishable food items. These items will then be collected for distribution by the Ottawa Mission.

Supporting our community, especially during these trying times, is more important than ever. Your donation will make a direct and positive impact for those in need. The Canadian Diagnostic Network would like to thank everyone for their help & generosity in supporting this very important cause.

About the Ottawa Mission

In 1906 a group of Christian business leaders saw a need among men experiencing homelessness and created our shelter on George Street. In 1911, a new residence was purchased at the corner of Waller and Daly, where the shelter remains today.

Beginning as an emergency shelter, our programs have expanded over time into a modern service hub with wraparound health, community and social services to help the most vulnerable in our community. Our programs help shelter residents and community members in need:

  • Food, including resident and community meals for those would otherwise go hungry;

  • Shelter, including emergency intake and residential treatment programs;

  • Client Services, including employment and educational support, housing assistance, mental health services, job training and clothing;

  • Addiction & Trauma Services to support recovery;

  • Health Services, including primary, dental and palliative care; and

  • Spiritual care to support healing, hope and a sense of belonging and self-worth.

Emergency shelter and addiction and trauma services are open to men aged 18 and older, while all other services are open to men and women. Everyone is welcome regardless of background.

The need for programs and services offered by the Mission has grown substantially and continues to do so. Our life-changing programs help those who are homeless and at risk of homelessness to rebuild their lives. We’ve come a long way since 1906. With the support of the community we continue to offer hope to everyone who comes through our doors.
